Memorial Scholarship Fund

‍Each year the 1849 Foundation awards scholarships in the name of Sacramento police officers that died in the line of duty. We are proud to work with sponsors to provide greater opportunities to those that our foundation serve.

The 1849 Foundation and our partners have joined together to offer over $90,000 in scholarship awards. Since 1996, we have helped deserving Sacramento students pursue their dreams while paying tribute to the Sacramento Police Department men and women who served the citizens of Sacramento, some making the ultimate sacrifice.
