






Welcome to the official Website of the Sacramento Police Officers Association. The SPOA represents the police officers, police sergeants, police dispatchers, and community service officers of the Sacramento Police Department.
Every day the men and women of the Police Department work hard to keep the communities of Sacramento safe from crime and violence. Crime does not take a break and neither do they. It does not matter if it is the middle of the night, a weekend, or a holiday; police officers are patrolling the streets and dispatchers are taking emergency calls and getting those officers to the locations where they are needed.
The Board of Directors of the Sacramento Police Officers Association takes great pride in representing the men and women who protect the City. The Board is comprised of Police Department employees who have many years of serving the residents of the City. The purpose of the Board is to negotiate salaries, benefits, and working conditions on behalf of the officers. The Board also controls legal defense funds, files grievances of behalf of employees, and coordinates disability insurance for the employees.
I would ask that as you navigate this site, you take a moment to appreciate the hard work and sacrifices of the Police Department employees who have dedicated their lives to protecting others.
